Melbourne Handball Club offers a few membership options to suit you, whether you're joining at the start of the season or partway through, and how often you want to play. We also offer flexible payment plans. If a lump sum isn't manageable, just get in touch, and our treasurer will work with you to set a payment plan that suits you. Take a look at the options below to find your fit.

Full Handball Membership

Full-Season Membership

Train with MHC throughout the full indoor season, from March to November.

2026 fees

  • Junior player (16–18): $300

  • Senior player (19+): $400

Your membership includes:

  • Weekly MHC indoor training

  • Registration with Melbourne Handball Club, Handball Victoria and Handball Australia

  • Personal injury and liability insurance

  • Eligibility to compete in tournaments, including the Australian Club Championship in July and the Australian State Team National Championship in November

  • Access to applicable club benefits, funding and support provided through fundraising, grants and MHC’s affiliation with Handball Victoria

Half-Season Membership

Train with MHC for four months: either March to July, July to November, or another agreed period.

  • Junior player (16–18): $200

  • Senior player (19+): $300

Your membership includes:

  • Weekly MHC indoor training during your membership period

  • Registration with Melbourne Handball Club, Handball Victoria and Handball Australia

  • Personal injury and liability insurance

  • Eligibility to compete in relevant tournaments during your membership period

  • Access to applicable club benefits, funding and support provided through fundraising, grants and MHC’s affiliation with Handball Victoria

 

Casual Handball Membership

Casual Membership

A flexible option for new players, late-season joiners or anyone unable to train regularly. Attend whenever it suits you, with no ongoing commitment.

2026 fees

  • Junior player (16–18): $10 per session

  • Senior player (19+): $15 per session

Payment can be made using the QR code provided after training and must be completed within seven days.

Casual membership covers MHC training sessions only. Unless otherwise arranged, casual players are not registered with Handball Victoria or Handball Australia and are therefore not insured or eligible to compete in the Australian Club Championship or Australian National Championship.
